Now that the excitement of the Fourth of July has passed and our gardens are flourishing, summer begins to settle into a gentler rhythm. The flowers are blooming, herbs are ready to be picked, berries are ripening, and evenings seem to last just a little longer.
This is the perfect season to pause.
At St. Croix Tea, we believe caring for yourself doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it begins with something as simple as preparing a glass of homemade iced tea, stepping outside, and taking a few quiet moments on the porch or in the garden.
Our Summer Iced Tea Collection is available in our exclusive Little Moments 1 oz bags. These smaller bags are offered only with our featured seasonal collections, making them the perfect way to sample new flavors, create refreshing summer drinks, or share with someone you love.
Two Easy Ways to Make Iced Tea
Hot Brew Method: Steep your tea slightly stronger than you would for a hot cup. Let it cool, refrigerate, then pour over ice.
Cold Brew Method: Add loose tea to cold water and refrigerate for 6–12 hours. Strain before serving for a naturally smooth, refreshing tea.
Make It Your Own
Summer gardens offer wonderful additions to every glass. Try fresh strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, or cucumber slices. Gently muddle a few berries before adding your tea, then finish with herbs like mint, lemon balm, basil, or even a touch of lavender for a refreshing twist.
If you enjoy making sun tea, remember to prepare it safely by using clean water and limiting the brewing time in the sun to about 2–3 hours before refrigerating.
Whether you're reading a book, tending your flowers, watching the sunset, or simply enjoying a quiet afternoon, let your glass of iced tea be a reminder to slow down.
Summer doesn't have to be rushed. Take a little time to care for yourself, enjoy the beauty around you, and savor a refreshing glass of tea. Sometimes the smallest pause can become the best part of your day.
